Welcome

ONCE UPON A TIME…

There was a little girl who dreamed of living in her own library and being surrounded by lovely books, and she would spend all her day reading, drinking tea and hunting for more good books to read. Well that happened, she became a librarian, she was surrounded by lovely books, and she drank a lot of tea. She also bought and read a lot of books and so in order to fund her book acquisitions, she decided to open a little bookish shop to sell some lovely things that she made and use the money to buy more lovely books.

So I read a lot, and I’ve run a book group since 2005, so books are kinda my thing, and it probably won’t come as a great surprise but I have read all of the books that have inspired my bookish candles. So without further ado, here is a list of some of my personal favourite books and series.  They may not all be your cup of tea, but there is bound to be something on this list that will have you staying up till the wee small hours just to finish the book, read another chapter or savour some delicious dialog between your new favourite characters. And you never know, it may end up as a candle one day, if it hasn’t already.
