I'm half way through this one – put it down to read the owl killers with the group. Its pretty good.
I like the heroine who is recently wheel chaired. Her pain and frustration at this comes through very well in the story. Rapture refers to the process believed by a brand of christianity ( i think evangelicals) that at armageddon the true believers will be propelled to heaven whilst the rest of the non believers (sinners) persish on earth.
Its not a belief I subscribe to…..
