I'm still not sure If I believe that a house alone can be evil. Unless it is built on sacred ground or other mystical ground, absorbing the evilness. I do believe that a person can be evil and in passing, it's spirit can remain around to be evil.
I am unsure as to how I feel about this projection of mischief and evil the author throws around in the book.
