Ok, slightly late start to the month of September but the poll was running until yesterday so…
Anyway, the book with the most votes for this month was:
Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison
This is the first book in the Rachel Morgan series, and if you haven’t read it, I think you’ll love it, if you have read it, then you’ll enjoy reading it again I’m sure.
Starting at the beginning of a series then means that we have the opportunity to continue on through the series discussing the books together and gaining insight from each other and also possibly from the author.
I have set up threads today for discussion, spoilers, questions for the author, and will set up a poll to vote after we have read it.
It would be nice to say we meet and discuss at a set time but given that we are scattered all over and have different schedules and time zones, then that would be difficult.
I think we could however, set a recommended number of chapters to get through in a week. This shouldn’t be too difficult as most people read quickly and we are taking a month to get through it.
So let’s say we ease ourselves in with the first 7 chapters? In my book this is the first 85 pages. Don’t worry if you can’t read that much.
