I forgot to mention LibraryThing!
I added a librarything widget to my lj yesterday so it displays a list of random books catalogued in My librarything collection. It’s reasonably easy to do though they are still working on a GUI for it, so you basically have to string the code together from examples, but it works pretty well. It also works on myspace and WordPress and general websites.
When I logged in today all that was on my random book list was cookbooks and Sunshine by Robin McKinley, strangely appropriate since the book is filled with cinnamon rolls and baking references, when it really should be full of vampires and stakings!
