The PEN/Faulkner Award lets writers award their peers for excellence in writing. A panel of three American novelists judge over two hundred entries each year. It is named after Pulitzer Prize for Literature winner and Nobel Laureate William Faulkner, and associated with the international writers’ organization PEN. The award is worth $15,000.
