Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy Release Date: 16 Sept 2011
This is one of my all time favourite books and George Smiley one of my all time favourite characters so I am well excited about this one!!! I have lost count of the number of times I have read this series (Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy; The Honourable Schoolboy; Smiley’s People) and watched the BBC series of TTSS and Smiley’s People starring Sir Alex Guinness as George Smiley, both of which are just brilliant.
However, I am really keen to see what they do with this, especially with Gary Oldman (one of the world’s most versatile actors) as George and Colin Firth no less, as Bill Haydon! Check out the rest of the cast:
